I made tetris. It's pretty cool.
It contains all 7 blocks, gravity, rotating blocks and line clearing.
It doesn't quite yet have any way to lose, hold blocks, or see the next block coming. Yes, I could easily add these, but no, I don't really want to.

(Thanks to NoahK for helping with displaying the video)
I originally made this on a school TI84+CE, but I lost it, so I made it on my TI83+, also making it faster. I hope it's optimized enough to be playable on a TI83+, I think it is, but just barely.
I'm not sure why the gif isn't loading... (Fixed now)
Glad to see you got the GIF fixed.

This looks like a really smooth and fast implementation of Tetris in monochrome BASIC, nice work!
Would love to see at least one lookahead piece, even if there isn't swapping/holding.

Maybe saving the (high)score to a custom named list, so you can try to beat your record?
This is very cool and it runs fast!

I think I might add a lookahead piece in the future, but first I want to work on other projects that I had ideas for.
This game is now available for download in the Cemetech archives
Looks good, thanks for sharing! A high score list and table is a great idea, and I agree on at least one-piece lookahead.
I'm working on my own Tetris recreation that runs about as fast as the Game Boy version. It's faster than any other I've found on the internet so far. How does your Tetris work? Do you use a matrix?
I do use a matrix, yes. The code for this tetris is also available on the archives if you want to look through it.
