Made a Mini-USB to USB A adapter at home, as in my country it costs over 30$ to get one. Just had to short pin 5 (GND) and pin 4 (ID) to make the calculator behave as a host device and connect the other wires directly.
Nice job with a creative solution; if only you could use both of those ports at the same time! What are you going to use it for?

Will probably use it mainly for USB drives in Cesium, as the flash storage of the CE is extremely lacking.
