This happens on more complicated games I have had it happen with harvest moon Mario world 3 and Pokemon crystal it happens after I have a decent amount of progress. when I try to save it says garbage collect? then if I press yes it freezes and corrupts the save files if I say no then it says an error saying a save file isn't found is there a fix for this? Thanks!
My calculator filled up playing Harvest Moon 2 in winter of year 1, and i lost everything. The only real solution I know of is to clear up space on the calculator by deleting files that come with it but that you don't use, like other languages or cellsheet.

ok thanks i wish the ti boy ce supported usb saving and roms from the usb that would solve a lot of problems
Garbage collection when saving is pretty normal if your Archive is very full, but it's not supposed to cause corruption or data loss. If your Archive is so full that it can't save even after garbage collection, it should simply fail to archive and leave the save in RAM, but maybe that's a case I'm not currently handling properly? I'll have to take a look later.

As for ROMs on USB, it's not likely to happen any time soon: https://github.com/calc84maniac/tiboyce/issues/130
This was just released the other day: http://ceme.tech/DL2629
I doubt it would work the same with whole ROMs, but I'm sure it would work with saves and stuff. Either way, it's a cool development and shows that USB drive stuff is definitely feasible.
