Programming noob here, did a bit of python and c++ but that was many years ago. How would I go about creating a program in BASIC that acts as a "translator"/ database? I want to be able to put in a set of predetermined inputs and outputs so when I load the program and input, the program will spit back the corresponding output I wrote into the code. This seems hopefully simple? I have many grand ideas for more complex programs, but I don't have the time right now to learn a new skill to the competency it would take to make them. If anyone knows how I would go about commissioning a program-if that's even a thing.... Would be much appreciated.
Thinking of your inputs/outputs before coding is a good practice. What kind of inputs/outputs were you think about specifically?

If you contact me in discord (just remove the 1 from my username.) I can help you learn the ins and outs of TI-Basic, and maybe more advanced parts as well. I've only been coding on a calculator for about 4-5 years, but it's enough to help somebody else get a grasp.
Use Celtic CE. With it, you can create, edit, and read AppVars, so you don't need to use OS variables to store data.
Download Mastermind CE!
You can find Celtic CE at https://bit.ly/CelticCE, or https://www.cemetech.net/downloads/files/2373/x2916
