When I tried to run Tie Fighter by Tim Molloy on the TilEm emulator, I got an "ERR:UNDEFINED" message (these are some problems with variables?). However, judging by the screenshots, the game should be fully functional.

Can someone who knows TI BASIC well look at the program code and see if there are any errors?
Hey Sighsaber, looks like the program is depending on Pic1, but that wasn't included with the download. I ran the game and deleted the Unarchive Pic1 and Recall Pic1 lines that are causing the errors, and was able to get the game to run.

I've gone ahead and recreated what I believe to be the Pic1 used by the program based on the screenshots. You can download it here: https://merthsoft.com/tie/Pic1.8xi

See if sending that to your calc helps get past the errors.
Yes, now everything works! merthsoft, thank you very much! It's strange that no one has noticed this error yet. Now this game will be included in our Star Wars marathon.

P.S. Would you like to also take a look at the Revenge of the Sith game? When I try to launch it in MirageOS, it is simply not visible there, and when trying to run it through Doors CS 7.4 everything freezes.
And this game does not start anywhere, it returns an error:

Hoseman & Son Episode 1 (2004)

What a neat project--documenting the calculator star wars games! That would definitely be worth making a post in the Your Projects section about!

I'm not sure. The description makes it sound like it won't work, though the reviews make it sound like it will. Maybe make sure you have as much free RAM as possible when running it? I'm not an asm guy so that's about the limit of what I know what that.

This suffers a similar problem to the other BASIC game--missing pictures. I can't recover those, though, as there are no screenshots. I can, however, remove the lines causing an error (and replace the Stops with Returns so it plays better in shells):

This is a good idea! It's probably worth talking about it in more detail, considering that it affects games on all possible gaming platforms (we recently reviewed the 400th game).

Thanks for the advice. I'll try to do that when we get to that game.

Thanks again, now I can run this game too!
Another problematic assembler game.

Tie Hunt by Andy_S, possibly the first Star Wars game for TI-83, returns
Code:
Invalid DIM
after the destruction of the TIE fighter. It seems the author knew about the problem and was unable to fix it.
We moved on to the TI-85 calculator.

There is a problem when launching this game: Tie Fighter v3.81 by Jared Laughlin (written in BASIC). The game starts, but when I try to start either OLD or NEW game, the ERROR 07 SYNTAX returns.

@merthsoft, could you help us, please? As before, TilEm 2.0 emulator was used.
It appears that it's trying to use a variable, SUPRMOBLE, which is too long and that's causing the syntax error. I'm unsure how they programmed it for the 85 without running into this problem--but I'm not a TI-85 user. Maybe there's a trick to it, or an assembly program that enabled it, or something.

I don't right now have the means of editing TI-85 files other than on the calculator so I can't fix it with a replace.
It's a pity, but thanks anyway for detecting the error. I'll try to figure it out myself, although I'm not sure I can handle it.

Hooray! I shortened the variable by one letter (SUPRMOBL), fixed a few more bugs (the author sometimes forgotted the exact writing of some variables) and everything worked! Editing is done elementarily: [PRGM] [F2] (EDIT) edit program [Esc].

@merthsoft, Thanks a lot again! The final gameplay is presented here.
