does this support assembling to an appvar for hooks?

Currently it does not. Might not be too hard for us to look into though. 🙂
I see that your hook tutorial might work for this, the only issue is that at the end of the source code it says "include 'src/hook.asm" would i just replace that with the code that would be in hook.asm?

That's correct! I've used the same template to create a simple hook entirely on-calc in the past, so hopefully it should work for you as well.
thx, i'm glad i'm learning
Do you think it could be possible to import, and maybe even disassemble eZ80 programs with it?

(Disassemble, as in actually show the code, not just the hexadecimals)

This was mentioned earlier:

We figured people could just use PT_'s disassembler
Thanks to Ti64CLi, eZ80 Studio now has auto tab support! Rocco and I also fixed a bug with the unsaved changes warning appearing when no file was open, and slightly optimized the file open menu. Check out the new update on Cemetech or GitHub! 🙂
Such an amazing utility 🙂

Something I would really like to see in future releases is a menu where you can browse and select system vars/routines/instructions to paste into the program, similar to Mimas. I don't know how difficult this would be to implement, but it would be really helpful.
