Hi yall, I'm not sure if this is the correct forum, and i also know I haven't been supper active(a bunch of miniprojects that I'll post bout later), but this is a problem that I really think is an issue that someone needs to talk about and discuss. Basically, I got an android about 6 months ago, because I wanted to be edgy and cool and also because my iPhone was broken both physically and in it's software. However, I got this android, a Samsung, through my carrier, Verizon, and the phone came with apps that were carrier installed, apps that were installed by Verizon. One of these apps is Verizon app manager, which "manages apps" and allows you to see download speed. However, it also decides to install apps on to your phone during security updates. The app itself isn't core to my system, however, it installs games on my phone every update, and these are the type of games you would expect to see in a YouTube/instagram shorts ad. This is one of the type of apps that is so called, "uninstallable" and can only be disabled. But disabling does nothing, as it enables itself during the security update. Thus I'm going to attempt permanently uninstall this app through various methods, documenting my journey along the way. In additon, I am going to try and make a thorough list of bloatware apps and uninstall those as well. Otherwise than this sour note, I hope yall have a nice day.
Good luck with rooting, you'll need to uninstall DT Ignite also. Sucks that some companies will install PUP's on your system just to make money.
You can uninstall nearly any app using the Android Debugger Bridge. It doesn't require root and I've personally done it to my phone to uninstall Facebook services and other bloatware.

Don't get too carried away uninstalling stuff. On my old phone I accidentally removed the dialer and had to factory reset. 😄
Edit: if you're going to root, you might need to contact Verizon to enable OEM unlocking. Unfortunately Verizon is remarkably stupid and will refuse to enable this option unless you're the original owner of the phone (I've dealt with this before, they also won't contact the original owner on your behalf). If you got your phone through a carrier plan then Verizon may also refuse to enable OEM unlocking until the phone is paid off.
There's a list of common bloatware found on Samsung phones you can find here. Beware I have not personally used this list: https://www.androidsage.com/2018/09/01/list-of-bloatware-remove-uninstall-android-device-without-root/

Well, it wasn't as difficult as I expected it to be, but here's how it went for me,
First, you'll need:
- your android(duh)
- a computer that works
- usbc to what ever you computer can take cord
Then I downloaded abd&fastboot on my computer and downloaded app locator on my phone
Then I activated devloper mode on my android, and to do that I just tapped my build number until i turned it on, then go to devloper options and turn on USB debugging
Next, I connected the phone to the computer using the cord and accepted the request from my phone
Then I opened the adb/fastboot from my computer and typed in adb devices
Once I saw my phone was successfully connected, I fiddled around a bit with different commands before coming up with adb uninstall --user 0 <package>, where the package is the thing you want gone PERMENENTLY, adding -k caches it, but to get the package I just search up the app itself wanted gone on app inspector, in this case Verizon app manager which is managed and packaged by the logia group, a company soly dedicated to the monetization of mobile phones
