What Calculator games have you all played?
Here's my list.

Zelda Link's Awakening
Pokemon RED
Pokemon BLUE

For the above 3, I used [https://calc84maniac.github.io/tiboyce/]

Donkey Kong by Rico
Flappy Bird
Minesweeper
Space Invaders
Aventur
Portal Returns

All this is on a 5.4 OS ti 84 + ce color edition,
Links awakening and pokemon red on the calc were awesome, I never really got into Gen 2 though.

Right now I'm playing through Azure Dreams for the GBC and I can't recommend it enough, I have 15 ish hours and I've had it about a week. It's a good combination of harvest moon 2 (which I tried to play but my ram glitches and reset me, leading to a ragequit) and Pokémon, and the combat is like if dnd 5e was a rythym game. It's like a Pokémon rip off according to some but it has so many unique mechanics and it's just such a goofy and awesome game.
Not to go on a whole tangent, but also the game has some really funny bits such as
- the exact plot of Pokémon but the dad isn't just MIA, he "disappeared" in the tower, (which you can leave at any time and there's no way to get stuck in, also a tower NPC that looks like you and talks about how generous and caring your dad was in the tower, definitely a mistress he ditched the mom for)
- names such as Weedy, Ghosh (which I pronounce as pretentious josh), and Selfi
- the rival (aforementioned Ghosh)'s ace monster/familiar/whatever is literally just a normal real life duck, who appears in a cutscene where it walks up to him and says the word quack (it says it's own name like a Pokémon) and then follows him around as a normal duck

Sorry to go on a whole tangent but I've been obsessed with this game the past couple of days and nearly no one's heard of it.
I've also noticed not nearly enough love for TiBoy here on Cemetech, as I currently have a library of about 40-50 converted roms that make up the bulk of my best games, and honestly I feel like everyone should just play TiBoy more. (Idk maybe just making it a Gameboy kind of defeats the purpose of learning new ways to break stuff?)

Also, Dr. Mario for the GBC is not to be overlooked, it is truly peak gaming.
Once as a child I was but a gamer. But when I became a man, I put away childish things.
...Just kidding. I always love a good GBC game, and Zaalane's Another World Interpreter is unrivaled (although it took me like an hour to figure out how to compile it).
GPSP for the nspire is also pretty insane, although I no longer have access to it 😢
Edit: Forgot to add a shoutout to all the awesome Pokemon ROM hacks for the GBC, they're fire. A few I've played are Crystal Clear (an open-world version of Crystal) and Prism (a completely new Pokemon game in which you can play as your Pokemon, use them outside of battle, etc.)
gotta go with the og time-waster, puzzpack

(contains two endless puzzle games and two other logic puzzle games, still love block dude)
I've played hundreds of calculator games, I'm sure, not least while judging Cemetech programming contests, but ones that stick out include Puzzpack, Paper Plane, and Phoenix. See also our 2010 favorite calculator games topic for another perspective that heavily overlaps with this topic.

Mateo's Pokemon Gold Christmas Edition on Emulatorgames has up to gen 4 and higher pokemon, starts with xp share, gets rid of the starter fetch quest, and also just looks really pretty. It's awesome
SMA89's pretty great. Gran Tourismo on the TI-89's worth a mention.

As for all the stuff I've played... I've left like 50 reviews on different games, it would be difficult to list them all. Tank Duel's pretty good, SAMM..I can't even get outside of the first hallway, Maze Dash CE's alright

Hey, games are games.
However I did see someone I know once go through the effort of learming to use shells, jailbreaks, and TiBoy just for the purposes of putting the single gamemode non-color og Gameboy Tetris on his calc instead of using tetrica, truly appaling.
A bunch, favorite genre has got to be adventure or puzzle, favorite of all time SAMM, it's just unique and the open world aspect made me clock in overall 35 ish hours on it. (It's also great inspiration:)
ye, the prob with zelda Link Awakening is it is sometimes sound based and unfortunately, ti calculators do not have sound.
Which version are you playing that is sound-based? I've played through Link's awakening several times on my ce with no sound.
I've played probably 20 gba games on my nspire and several hundred on my 84 ce and se. Several that I played way to much of as a kid were Minecraft on my se

Obliter8 by Kerm himself.
Age of Calculators for the se

And of course Oiram by Mateo (specifically the Rainbow Road Pack).

Like that one dungeon where you rely on sound
its the one where you poke the sword on the wall
