Currently potentially about to get my first Ti-Inspire, and I know absolutely nothing about using it. I've only ever worked with the 84+ family, and know that the jump from a CE Python is huge. Where should I start my Inspire journey?
Get an older calculator with an OS version that supports the Ndless jailbreak. That'll let you take full advantage of its power.
get a used ti nspire cx cas from ebay. It'll be cheaper than the 2 version and you'll be able to jailbreak it. Get the gba emulator(I can help more with that if needed).
Not sure what it'll be since people have been hinting at giving me one as a gift, I was seen eyeing one at a used electronics store. Is there any way to jailbreak the 2 if that's what it ends up being?

if you get an old OS version then yes. Check Ndless.me for the latest supported OS.
Awesome, thanks for the tips. If I am getting one I'll be getting it today so we'll see in a few hours what I can do, I'll report back then
And the answer is... (Drumroll.please)

A ti nspire CX II CAS
OS 5.2.0.771

Is it jailbreakable gang?
Yes, it is, here is the gihub:https://github.com/ndless-nspire/Ndless/releases/tag/r2019 and the website, in case you run into any errors: https://ndless.me/#SDK
Beautiful, any recommendations for other stuff to do with the Nspire?
Learn how to make an Ai with out any packages in python, just a linear regression algorithm, and while bring slow, you actually learn how Ai works
Awesome, Thanks
Get the game boy advance emulator. And use it to ace math.
Where could I find a link to the GBA emulator, and does it work the same as the GBC on the CE as far as ROM conversions?
Here's the GBA emulator. You don't need a converter. Just replace the .gba in a rom to .gba.tns, and transfer those to your Nspire.
Thanks for the help everyone, Ill be working on it soon!
And the files for the emulator can be zipped so they take up less space on the calculator.
Meaning the emulator itself or the GBA games can be zipped, or both?
The game roms can be zipped. just add .tns after the name.
