If an admin could click here and select the cemetech server, that'd be great, thanks.

Pros:
  • super easy to add
  • we get to listen to music
  • there could be a cemetech playlist!

Cons:
  • Literally nothing

Also maybe make a #music channel to avoid flooding other channels with music bot commands.

We have a bot-spam channel for exactly this purpose! Maybe we could use that.

One important thing to note is that it's not an irritation for users who don't want to listen because they can just mute the bot themselves on their client :)
I don't think it would be too hard to have a music channel, I 100% am on board with this.
This is my unfamiliarity with music bots showing, but why? I've never seen the point of music bots. I'm not saying there isn't a valid reason for one but I'm not sold, and a link that says "plz click here and accept" isn't selling me on it. I can't even see the website long enough to learn about the bot; the commands, the abilities, etc.

Some of the cons I see, is that if a user puts 10 songs in the queue that no one is interested in.
What makes this different than screen-sharing YT, Pandora, Spotify, or some other service?

Maybe I'm over thinking it.
I personally don't really care about music bots either, but

There are commands to remove songs from the queue. You can also just set the bot's volume to 0 for you if you don't want to hear it but still want to hear other people in the call.

Screen-sharing audio is quite buggy on Discord, and often leads to desyncs. The main benefit over Pandora/Spotify is that everyone in the call can listen to the same music at the exact same time. I'm aware that this is also possible with Spotify, but that requires everyone involved to pay for Spotify, and a Discord bot is overall more convenient if you're already in a call.

It's easy enough to just remove the "invite" part of the URL to see the site: https://groovy.bot/

Ah, yes. Of course, let me remove the invite part from

Code:
https://discord.com/oauth2/authorize?redirect_uri=http%3A%2F%2Fgroovy.bot%2Fcallback&response_type=code&scope=bot+identify+guilds+email+applications.commands&permissions=8&client_id=234395307759108106

Also, bot added.
Woo, thanks! Very Happy
I personally use rythm for my discord server. Last time I checked it has more customization than groovy. However both are good bots.
