Only thing I can really point to is the minimum OS version (which could be useful if I set it to something absurdly old if I needed to try a new OS). But other than that, I messed with the product ID and both unknown fields (on CEmu 5.3.0, maybe results would be different on hardware) and saw no signs of bricking the emulator.

How would certain values for the fields that aren't minimum OS cause a TI 84+ CE to be unusable? Just curious.

Edit: I mentioned this earlier in a YT comment and got a response. Definitely should not mess w/ the Unknown fields. Right now, CEmu is still working fine.
CERMASTR can brick your calc only because the TI-OS crashes on startup when some fields are malformed, which causes an infinite loop Razz
