I decided to make a short script to install the CE Toolchain for use on a Linux computer. Be sure to have wine installed before using the script though, because otherwise it will not work.
This is the link to the script:
https://raw.githubusercontent.com/89989/installtoolchain/master/ce-toolchain_install.sh
This is my first script, so can anyone tell me if it has any bugs?
Not to mention this is the first time I have contributed to the community.
Strangely, I couldn't get a variant of your code running on my Mac OS:

Code:

curl -o "mac_CEdev.tar.gz" "https://github.com/CE-Programming/toolchain/releases/download/v8.6/mac_CEdev.tar.gz"
tar -xvzf mac_CEdev.tar.gz

because tar fails to recognize the resulting tar.gz file.

That's interesting, I will have to see that sometime. As for the record, I can confirm that my script works on Arch Linux and it's derivatives (maybe).
