My recent attendance at T^3 2018 got me thinking. The MSP-432 Launchpad is at most $13 from TI, and it seems like for some of our more tech-savvy members who want to play with the Innovator but don't want to shell out $55 for the Innovator Hub might want to build their own. With that in mind, I'm going to try replicating a limited subset of the Innovator Hub functionality with a bare Launchpad and a minimum of extra hardware, to be documented in this thread. It's not a replacement for or a competitor of TI's hardware, but might be a nice way for us to be able to play with the Innovator Hub interface on the cheap. As a starting point, here's what's inside the Innovator:
