When clicking on the "Swiping on the TI-84" thread from the recent posts on the home page, I get a warning from Google Chrome. This doesn't happen with the other links? Any reason for this? (I haven't continued to the site just in case it is malicious).
This now happens with any post from Pieman, as he has an image in his bio from an "unsafe site", img.techpowerup.org.
BAN BAN BAN!
That shouldn't be a difficult fix for the admins. Meanwhile just use Firefox, I haven't had any issues with Pieman's posts (though my fancy firewall and VPN may be affecting my results).
EDIT: The 'unsafe' image wont load so Firefox isn't just insecure and letting it though.
I've removed the offending image from the signature. See also, https://transparencyreport.google.com/safe-browsing/search?url=www.techpowerup.org
Seems questionable that mere inclusion of an image would trigger phishing protection.
Did the image link to the problematic website or was it just hosted on the website? I feel like an actual link might be considered a little bit more "dangerous"...
Just hosted on it, AFAIR.
