Why is it the school version? If you bring it to school, it may be confiscated.

Congratulations on a new calc, but the means by which you obtained it are questionable, considering this is the ez spot version. The whole point of ez spot is so that schools that buy teacher packs don't get them stolen all the time...

If you ever do plan on taking that to school, I'd advise carrying a copy of the Amazon receipt/ order confirmation with you at ALL times, just in case someone asks you why you have a school property calc with you (the chances of your school having a class/school property set of non CX Nspires is doubtful, but it never hurts to be safe!)

You probably should show the receipt a day or so later, if asked, because as Nik reminded me on SAX/IRC, it would seem suspicious if you whipped out a Amazon receipt on request...

I have been questioned before if I stole a calculator and mine was not even a school version. You would be questioned no doubt. I would advise the same as SM84CE but would also etch your name into the back also or something similar. This way, its like double confirmation. Also, did you buy it knowing it was a school edition?
