I got it to work now, thanks for clarifying.
I had a long talk with MateoC about fixing it, and it worked, but it was really annoying. So, I wrote my own .bash file to make conversion on a bad mac easier. I just copied MateoC's lines, and it works perfectly.
If you use mac and encounter problems with convpng, and can't seem to find any errors,
1) try to figure it out by yourself
2) ask people for help
3) write your own .bash file
start your location with a "cd" and your folder location
do "./convpng"
voila
