Decimal floating point support has landed in the kernel! The pull request can be found here, however some fixes/optimizations have been pushed to master on top of it. While it's missing some (important) operations, it's a major first step.
well after some stuff at CW about shutting down I'm not updating that thread any longer. and @allynfolksjr, people hop in the IRC channel relatively often, so I figure they find info somewhere. Ask anyone outside of the drama and they'll say it's a cool project.
