Hey guys,
Recently bought ti 89+ce after my older 89 broke and doesn't turn on anymore. So I am taking college algebra and prepping for pre calc, assuming I pass college algebra. I am wondering if you guys know of any helpful apps besides the ones that are on the calc already. Maybe something like factoring, logarithmic equations and inequalities, domain/range and union things. I am going through a rough patch with math and really could use some help.
Also, if anyone else knows how to put notes from computer to the calculator that would be useful too. I have tried the Mateo dude (he's really popular and smart from what I've heard- forgot his username, but it was cool)... and I downloaded his text edit zip however when I type in my notes and drag it to "put notes here to convert" it doesn't convert, therefore doesn't convert and transfer to my 84+CE.
Any help would be awesome. I am new to forums but thought I should start here.

You can also browse ticalc or the Cemetech archives to find what your looking for if those links aren't good enough.

ehhh...I'm not sure you shouldn't study and just put notes on your calc, you'll retain the info more if you learn the math. I learned the hard way...

EDIT: I suggest using these tools to check your work (minus the text editor). I highly recommend you don't cheat.

What ever made you assume he was going to cheat?

Also, sabzab, about the text editor, I am assuming you are launching the .exe file in the folder "PutTextFilesHere"? Don't do that Put your text file in that folder, and then double click the file in the main folder labeled "ConvertToText.bat" That should convert everything for you, and you should find your calculator file in "ConvertedFiles"




(Mateo should probably include a readme with the program... )

So from what I understand, you are taking Algebra and you are struggling a bit. I am assuming you have the TI 84 Plus CE, as the TI 89 Plus CE doesn't exist.
