Thanks for this update, it somehow managed to escape from me...
Well, as I promised yesterday, I would test it by today, and I did. CATELEM works absolutely perfect, but TOK2CHAR seems to malfunction: Id doesn't crash, however it shows "l" instead of "m" and "?" Instead of L often, and similar issues.
I am not in a hurry, and I am currently not requesting a fix yet (I will need that soon, but not now) so if you don't want to work on it just nevermind. I will post when I need it.
Thanks again!
Okay, so now the point came when I need a token to string program (and if not too much effort also vice versa, but as far as I imagine this won't be worth the size and work).
Actually I am requesting this too late already, I will need to do a temporary basic attempt to do this, but in my final program I would like to have an assembly version.
TokenASCII outputs rubbish on my freshly full-reset, OS v1.19 TI-83+ for any non-uppercase letter (meaning not only lowercase letters but also anything else).
Edit:
And I want to say sorry for the way I requested these programs. Only now I start noticing how impolite this was...
I hope it wasn't much trouble...
Have you checked out the ToString program I made a bit ago? It can convert any input in Ans, variable or whatever to a string. You can find it here:
ToString
Edit: Hm, probably should modify the description to say TI83/84+
Oh well.

The reason for that is that it is converting the token to an ASCII string. Strings are displayed as tokens, so it looks like a bunch of garbage. That program is only useful when combined with certain other programs and I think some hybrid BASIC programs.

Ahh, thanks! Didn't know that.

Humm, I am afraid I don't really know what certain programs you mean. Could you give me some hints, please?
Bump.
I am sorry to be a little impatient, but does anyone know a solution?
(I need to convert tokens to strings of characters, I also already have the possibility to convert tokens to strings of tokens representing characters...)
