What is the maximum value these numbers can hold? If it's greater than 255, you won't be able to use A. To get OP1 into A (and the full value up to 9999 into DE) you can use _ConvOP1. I'm not sure how fractions are treated, though.

So this should get OP1 into A:

Code:
 b_call(_ConvOP1)
 LD 0,D
 LD A,E

Edit: b_call(_ConvOP1) seems to ruin OP1
