Hello,

I'm trying to solve the integral of cos(t)^10000 from -pi/2 to pi/2 with the TI-NSPIRE CX CAS.
If I try to get the exact result (just by clicking enter) the calculator gives the error: "Resource exhaustion: Cannot complete calculation".
If I try to do it approximately (by clicking ctrl+enter) the calculator gives the result 1.42738, which is wrong.

On the other side, the TI-89 titanium gives the right answer 0.025066.

I think this is a bug.
First of all, for any computer algebra system to find the exact answer of what you are prompting would rapidly fill the ram of the device that is running it, as my hp prime ran for 40 minutes trying to solve it before crashing.
Secondly, my hp prime gives the first answer, 1.42738, when in degree mode, and 0.025066 when in radian mode.
Hence, not a bug. Just change your degree mode.
