As a matter of fact, someone did indeed create a z80 syntax highlighter for Notepad++, and it's in Cemetech's Archives:

That's pretty good, I miss some register highlighting though. Maybe I can tweak it further.
If you do, be sure to share the result with us. I know that quite a few of us here at Cemetech use Notepad++ for our z80 ASM programming.
No problem, I share everything I do if I think it's ready to be published.
I'd love a TI-BASIC Syntax highlighter.
I thought of that too. But how does it help? You couldn't type the STO-Arrow for example. If you'd want to past it in the TIProgramEditor, some chars have to be converted. An additional converter would be required I think.

Clearly you've never used SourceCoder or TokenIDE both of which surpass TIProgramEditor in many ways. That said they both also already have syntax highlighting for ti-basic.
i think notepad++ or subline text are better.
I think not much more has to be done then, it looks actually pretty good.

Really ? Would these not require configuring to emulate our own IDEs or would they work out-of-the-box ??
