This is probably a stupid question, but I'll ask anyway: Could you just port Torque's network code to save time/effort or would that introduce its own problems/reintroduce old problems?
An old version of it was released ages ago as the open source "Torque Networking Library". I'll definitely have a look before I write any netcode of my own.
Some updates.

pr0gr4mm3r from here/the TOB forums has been playing around with a Windows build and laying the groundwork for the interactive console typical of most modding-friendly game engines.

I had a busy week but added some more libRocket support code for user interaction and UI design, and am working on more support code for the inferred rendering pipeline, which has not yet been committed.
