If you ever see it, grab it. I guarantee you you will be intrigued if you are at all interested in the creation of the Internet.

This book describes the (you guessed it) creation of the Internet. It is basically a timeline utilizing chapters. It's incredibly informative and accurate, and it's also what got me so interested in learning more about the interwebs. It outlines difficult problems that the creators had to face (like the acceptance of packets) and predecessors to the Internet (DARPANET + ARPANET) as well as what it took to get those running and reliable.

It's all in all a great read for the tech-savvy-wannabe, and I've read it countless times before. Highly recommend.
my dad recommended this book to me. good tose that someone else likes it than him (he likes odd books).
