Is it just the LCD screen needing replacement, or something else?
...I think the giant crack in the screen gives it away.
What does it look like when you turn it on?
When I turn it on, its cracked. When I turn it off, theres nothing there.
Ah, I missed the power light. Yeah, you broke the LCD buy the plastic over it seems to be fine then.
You mean "buy a new LCD panel."

I second all the aforementioned opinions that you need to replace the LCD panel, unfortunately.

This is my second one, i have another one with a screen, but the copper connectors are tore off of it. is it possible to put only the black part of the screen in this one, even with the connectors tore off of it? like replace the black screen?
Finally got a new PSP. PSP 1000, but its a PSP.
Congratulations! What are you going to do with your old, broken PSP? Are you going to continue to try to fix it, or take it apart for fun, or what?
Well i was thinking about keeping it in case i somehow come up with a PSP 2001 screen. I know how to fix it (thanks to my first PSP and some tutorials on YouTube) so that wont be a problem.
