Oh, so you must just be using scanning...I was considering doing that, but I wanted to see if there was an algorithm that was guaranteed to come up with a solution.

My program does 5 of those, TI-BASIC isn't powerful enough (or I haven't figured otu how yet Cool ) to do the others.
Ugh, I was trying to implement one last night, and it is just too a hard when one considers the amount of effort I'm willing to put into this...Maybe I'll do a regression with unsolved puzzles as x and their solutions as y - there has to be some sort of relationship (I hope). Rolling Eyes
