Errr, ok
That is funny, when I asked for a file while on IRC, he was saying he is at work.... he was giving the message that he was IRC-ing while at work.
Also, if the parents block SITES, doesnt that mean he can still use IRC?
Or is that blocked too?
I frickin agree with Joe Young
How does one "frickin agree" with someone?

yeah, I don't mean to cast suspicion on SirCmpwn or anything, just that something must have happened to make them think they are acting appropriately, because no one I know, not even Omni, can be THIS paranoid naturally.
I just think the calculator sites are just a small part of the problem. I only visit calc forums maybe 12% of the time I'm online.
errr this messange has been removed

Sir's parents: if you are reading this YOU ARE A BUNCH OF CENSORING TARDMUFFINS!!
Sir might hate me for this, but your suspicion is correct. Just to tell you. But I think scince he 17, it should be ok to look at that kinda stuff.....
Admitt it, we have all done it at some point.
yeah, I didn't know the situation at first. a little searching turned up http://ourl.ca/6089/95421
Remember however, he was ELEVEN when he did this. So yeah, he pretty much shattered any trust his parents had with him. While still in middle school. Parents get paranoid about that. Unfortunately, they legally and morally have every right to do this. And sure, we've all looked at that stuff. To be fair, I didn't see it until I was 15 because my parents basically limited my access for a while. I didn't get exposed to much back then. Since, they've pretty much stopped everything, since I'm apparently trustworthy.
I don't think Sir would hate you. He said it himself on a public forum. While I am no longer welcome in the Omnimaga community, Kevin was nice enough to allow me to visit the site.
EDIT: So, uh.... is not(C a play on Nazi?
From what I remember, Sir parents did not want him to use chats at all, even MSN. I wouldn't be surprised if this didn't change.
I do not know if it could be this, but I suspect that SirCmpwn usage of IRC may have an impact on his parents decisions of blocking sites. #omnimaga log server blocks their IP, but they can very well use proxies (or another Internet connection) to access them. I am saying this because this is the 3rd time this happens so far since school ended and everytime, he was using #omnimaga quite a lot before this happens.
If the next time he is unblocked he doesn't use IRC at all and still get blocked, then there is something else.
Also Joe, if you were refering to me, it's DJ Omni/DJ Omnimaga, not Omni/Omnimaga.

Hmm, that casts it in quite a different light then, and makes this less of a strange and unjustified situation. Can we assume that the incident has recurrent, hence their cyclic blocking recently?
Err that is not that bad. I did it in 5th grade.......
When I did get cought, I got the talk and my parents hooked up a a internet filter. BUT since they are not tardmuffins, it was only set to block porn, nothing else.
11 is when I started to get attracted to girls. So 11 is not TOO bad.

True, you can't really stop anyone who is dedicated from doing what he wants on IRC. I've ban-evaded once or twice in the past, even, using proxies >.>
And sorry, yeah. I gotcha, DJ Omni ^^
Errr for the record I do not use a proxy to look at that, just to get to sites that are bannened for "sex' language

Yeah, that was my point, I just didn't type it... somehow...

But yeah, basically. I think if he's evading to get to calc forums, he's doing the same for his other pursuits, breaking the trust cycle over and over.
Though this is PURE SPECULATION. I imply nothing,
qazz42, it's his random catch phrase, like "let get rockin" or "how you doin'?"
he also sez his bunk is jangin'
He 29 but he acts like he's 6
No I think he is clean of the other stuff
He might be for the calc sites BUT HE IS 17. The calc sites are going too far

That was my assumption as well, although it's all speculation and hearsay without SirCmpwn here to defend himself.

SirCmpwn, I think. He's just bs'ing though.
1, Why are you not welcome in Omnimaga community?
2. What catchphrase??
Unless I missed a joke somewhere, SirCmpwn is neither 6 or 29 years old. More like 10 years higher than the first.

So if this is indeed the case, I can easily empathize.
Yep, that America, innocent till proven gulity.

I think Anak's just being silly or something.
Anyway, I hope that SirCmpwn can break the cycle (if that is indeed what it is) so we don't have to live without daily updates on his planning of KnightOS, Mosaic, and the million other things he has going on.
