This is amazing program being that it is written in TI Basic. The code is very well written and it runs very fast. The addition of poison berries makes it much more engaging. I love it! 10/10
First snake game on the almighty 84+CSE, and it uses the colors well. The controls are responsive, and no bugs were found for the final release. Nice simple game where you jump in, play, die and find out if you managed to beat your previous high score or not. Excellent time waster! :) 10/10
Snake v0.9 is an innovative take on the classic Snake concept, but it really shines as the first TI-BASIC graphscreen arcade game for the TI-84 Plus C Silver Edition. The author makes excellent use of the color features, bringing more life to the classic Snake gameplay mechanics with berries to avoid. Between the berries, walls, and your own tail, there are plenty of obstacles to make the game fun and challenging. Color is used with surgical precision, and doesn't feel gratuitous. The high score feature is particularly well-written, even automatically archiving your high score so that it won't be lost in a RAM clear. Gameplay: 9/10 (lots of fun, plus original features) Speed: 8/10 (it's as fast as a TI-84+CSE BASIC program can get) Replayability: 9/10 (who ever gets sick of snake?) Overall: 9/10 Superb.
