Description

**TICRAFT CE** is a small 2D block world game for the **TI-84 Plus CE**.

It is inspired by Minecraft.
It is made to run better on the TI-84 Plus CE.

## Save Files

The game uses these save files:

* MCSAVE1
* MCSAVE2
* MCSAVE3
* MCSKIN

`MCSAVE1`, `MCSAVE2`, and `MCSAVE3` are world saves.
`MCSKIN` is the custom player skin save.

### Main Menu

* Up / Down: Select
* 2nd / Enter: Confirm
* Clear: Exit

### In Game

* Left / Right: Move
* Up: Jump
* 8 / 5 / 4 / 6: Move block cursor
* 2nd: Mine block
* Alpha: Place block
* * / -: Change hotbar item
* Mode: Open / close item basket
* Window: Open / close key guide
* Sto: Save
* Del: New world
* Clear: Exit

### Item Basket

* Arrow keys: Move selection
* Y=: Previous page
* Graph: Next page
* 2nd: Choose block
* 1–9 / 0: Put block into hotbar slot
* Mode: Close basket

### Skin Editor

* Arrow keys: Move cursor
* * / -: Change color
* 2nd: Paint
* Alpha: Erase
* Sto: Save skin
* Del: Delete skin
* Mode: Back to menu

## Build

Build with CEdev:

```bat
make clean
make
```

Then send the `.8xp` file to your TI-84 Plus CE.

## Notes

If `kb_KeyWindow` does not compile, replace it with:

```c
kb_KeyGraph
```

Old save files may show `BAD SAVE` if the save format is different.
Just create a new world and save again.

## Status

The game is playable now.
It will continue to be updated in the future.

I really like the skybox and the day/night cycle, but the mining is painfully slow (it took a night to get down 10 blocks staircase mining) and you cannot block pillar.

The crafting is nice, and there are a lot of crafts for a calc edition.

Also, why isn't there thread for this?

You could shrink the world a little bit to reduce lag. This game was pretty fun ngl.

Although you can customize your own skin in the game (which is a great idea), I think it would be better if the skin editor had a larger workspace.
