Reviews
Stacker v0.9 - 6/10
I really do enjoy my long-winded reviews of simple calculator games...
At the time of writing, Stacker is one of the newest games on this site. Since it's easily accessible to me, I decided to give it a go.
Stacker is a version of those simple mobile games where you must stack blocks on top of one another, and any piece of block overhanging over another gets chopped off of the following block, until you have no more block left to place. The game works surprisingly well, and like its more polished more polished mobile predecessors, is decent enough fun. Unfortunately, though, it does have a few things going against it. For one, the presentation could be improved upon, especially the title screen, although it's not a deal-breaker. My biggest issue with the game is also, funnily enough, its greatest strength: its simplicity. It's incredibly intuitive after just one or two [ENTER] clicks, but it's too easy and simple to really engage me much. I give the game a 6/10 for the good enjoyment it did provide me, and for its size and its entertainment value as an arcadey time-waster, I do recommend it. Just don't stack too high!
