  3. TI-84 Plus C Silver Edition

The TI-84 Plus CSE is largely incompatible with programs designed for the monochrome or CE calculators, but BASIC on the CSE is compatible with the CE so most programs designed for either will work correctly on a CSE and some monochrome BASIC programs will also work correctly. Most assembly programs require Doors CSE 8 to run, as do some BASIC programs.

  1. This is a game of Whack-A-Mole using the CBL2 light sensor! Make sure you have
DoorsCSE installed (http://dcs.cemetech.net). Turn your brightness to max.

Hook up the light sensor into Channel 1, and connect your 84+CSE via the link port.
Run the program, and point the light sensor at the circle when it appears.

This is very bare-bones, and was more a proof-of-concept than anything else. Some
cool improvements would be variable speeds and a calibration mode.

This is a 84+CSE Hybrid basic program that tells you the freezing(melting) points of all of the ‘normal’ metals [‘normal’ meaning no lanthanides or actinides or the triple digit elements]

Use the left and right arrow keys to scroll through elements, and press [clear] to exit the program

Requires DoorsCSE libs to run <for people who saw this as my contest entry, i fixed the bismuth bug>

  3. TI-Craft CE is a simple 2-dimensional Minecraft clone for the color TI-84 Plus models (C Silver Edition and CE). Due to the limitations of TI-Basic, it is based on Minecraft Classic (creative mode only, no flying, limited world size).

  4. This simple, quick program tests the clock speed of a TI-84+CSE to about +/- 50 kHz. You need to set CLASSIC (not MathPrint) before running. It might not be as accurate as my original version that uses floating-point math to average the results of several trials, but not enough to matter.

  5. Students will learn about gravitational force while they work to keep an asteroid from striking the Earth. This port of the Earth Impact! activity brings the excitement and education of TI's STEM Behind Hollywood program to the TI-84 Plus C Silver Edition. Made for Doors CSE 8.1 or higher, it provides the same engrossing lessons about Newton's law of universal gravitation, density, force, and other STEM topic that the TI-Nspire activity provides.

  6. This classic arcade game is now on color calculators! Use your paddle to bounce the
ball past your opponent. This single-player Pong game comes with many options for
difficulty and match duration. It runs smoothly and quickly. When you download this
game, there will be two programs: one for slower calculators and one for faster
    calculators.

Students will learn about forensic techniques, the stages of decomposition, and the STEM jobs involved in identifying bodies as they help solve this case. This is a direct translation of TI's STEM Behind Hollywood activity, "Body of Evidence", for the TI-84 Plus C Silver Edition. Made for Doors CSE 8.1 or higher, it provides the same fun, real-world lessons about forensic science.

This library contains up to date (DCSE 8.1) information on the Celtic and xLIBC library functions found in Doors CSE, and requires the latest Doors CSE to run. It also includes the color chart used by xLIBC, and ASCII value lookup table, also used by xLIBC. A must if you don't want to carry 30 pages of notes around. - Update, this version fixes excess data in GetKey documentation

  14. Flags Database, simply put, is a database of flags and their identifiers. You select a country and it will display the flag that belongs to it. There is also a quiz function, so you can test your flag knowledge. Future updates will bring state flags for the US, and historical flags. This version has a typo fix, and allows searching the list via pressing letter keys to jump pages.

  15. This edutaining program lets you graph curves of the kind created by the popular "Spirograph" toy. In math terms, it produces parametric curves in the epicycloid and hypocycloid families. The user controls the value of R, r, A, the number of revolutions, and the color of the graph, and this program graphs it. This program includes six demo curves, and you can modify the parameters of any of the demos to experiment with your own designs. When you create a design you like, you can export to any of the parametric equations so you can explore your curve in the TI-OS. A great way for students to see the connection between math and art! Requires Doors CSE 8.

And to make your day even more special, it has an amazing opening animations, featuring pigs, and inverted screens! And don't forget about the dice! It has a 3D dice rolling animation as well! So, go play some Game of Pig! Have fun! Beat the AI, or your pesky sibling!

It requires Doors CSE, and WILL NOT WORK ON THE TI 84+ CE.

You start with a certain number of frames and you have to catch as many stars as you can before all of your frames run out. Every star gives you 10 more frames and every UFO you hit takes away 5 frames. Use the left and right arrows to move. Requires Doors CSE 8.1.1 or higher.

Just input the four numbers and, with time, this program will output the solutions. Compatible with TI-83/84/+/SE/CSE/CE.

All you need are earphones or amplified speakers that can plug into the
link port, or an AM radio. Standard 3.5mm audio plugs will not fit into the
2.5mm link port. You will need a 3.5mm-socket to 2.5mm-plug audio adaptor. Ported from the original TI-83 program by Badja.

  21. A simple game of NIM for two players:

On your turn, you can take as many stones as you like, as long as they all come from the same pile. Whoever takes the very last stone loses.

One note: sometimes the program will generate a very small amount of stones. Just relaunch the program; it randomizes the numbers every time as of v1.0.0

This is my first original game ever, so please test it out and see what you think, and don't roast me for accidentally clearing your RAM. (It didn't clear mine...)

  22. This is a little map editor thing I started working on that can be used to make text maps on the graph screen
with color for the text. This could be used for any matrix-based engine with a 10x22 matrix. It would take
further code to make it work for other, similar engines.
It's not the most optimized it could be right now, and there are probably faster ways to do a lot of the things
I'm doing, but I was mostly just messing around.

  24. This program is a simple sprite displayer that doesn't require sprites to be any specific size. You simply store the hex data that correlates to the table included in the readme for colors, tell the program how wide the sprite is and where to put it, and it will do the rest. It also contains 2 modes. Mode 1 displays the sprite on a normal 1:1 scale. Mode 2 displays the sprite in a 4:1 scale.

I know this isn't the fastest thing out there, keep in mind it's in BASIC. It's mostly just to have it out there and ready now, and maybe inspire an ASM version.

After students get a background in how mass, normal force, and the coefficient of friction are related, they play the role of the henchperson to a villainous civil engineer trying to sabotage a new bridge. They must spray a concrete roadway with oil, water, or ice to stop the hero from saving the bridge, using their knowledge of friction to figure out the best substance to use. This port of the Science Friction activity brings the excitement and education of TI's STEM Behind Hollywood program to the TI-84 Plus C Silver Edition. Made for Doors CSE 8.1 or higher, it provides the same fun lessons about friction and forces in the context of student-friendly superheroes and villains.

Updated Subprograms so that they don't graph anything when the program is running. Also removed Labels...
