  3. Casio Prizm (fx-CG) Programs and Games

Casio Prizm programs for all versions of the calculator. Some programs designed for earlier versions (the CG10 and CG20) may not work correctly on newer calculators (the CG50). We have a guide for how to put programs on the calculator. Lua programs also need LuaZM to run.

  2. This little plug-in can display the first 15000 digits (following the decimal point) of π (number pi). You can use it just for fun but this program can also help you by learning the digits. Currently 15000 digits are stored but if you need more (I can't imagine why...) just write me and I will add more digits. It's important that digits are stored and not computed, future releases might include this feature.

    Use the correct file for your calculator
    Casio fx-cg 10/20 -> 2048 (cg-10)(cg-20).g3a
    Casio fx-cg 50 -> 2048 (cg-50).g3a

    If there are no graphics showing up try using the other file.
    This programm is under the GNU V3 license

  6. The Prizm can finally be overclocked, or underclocked, at will! Want to play a game faster? Want to slow down operations to save your battery life a bit? Now you can overclock up to 94.3MHz, or underclock to as low as 3.6 MHz at the touch of a few keys! A very handy, small utility (under 30KB for the add-in), pick it up today and have even more control over your device! Now updated, so you can change your ICLK CPU clock division ratio to crank a teeny bit more speed out! You can also monitor the other bus speeds on your calculator, and now safely clock up to 94.3 MHz!

  7. Updated file of Discriminant

    This program finds the discriminant of a 2nd degree trinomial,
    does the quadratic formula,
    and solves for k in direct, inverse, and joint variation,

    Soon to come:
    Right now I'm working on turning this into an Add-in. So the next version will (hopefully) be in Add-in form.

  9. NESizm is a Nintendo Entertainment System emulator for Prizm fx-CG10 and fx-CG50. It supports reasonably accurate emulation at full speed for the CG50 at native speed and the CG10 when overclocked. It supports most major titles. Full source code and information is available at https://github.com/TSWilliamson/nesizm

  10. This is updated version of the wave player.
    Changes:
    - COM speed increased 4x (to 460800), so it is 1/4 of COM speed used by fxPlayer. This means sound quality is better, but do not expect miracles. I was able to directly access the sio registers (thank you Simon :-) ), but it seems the serial port is less powerful compared to the one in 9860G (one speed register is missing and fifo is only 16 B).
    - player remained synchronous, but it is able to play the whole wav - it creates the map of the file in flash and while playing it reads the file from flash directly (see source for details)

    I am not sure I will be able to increase the sound quality, I thing I touch the HW limits

  13. UPDATE: I did some experimenting with compression and managed to reduce the size of this game by 3KB. More space for you to use for other things, right?

    SwitchRPG is my first attempt at writing an RPG for a calculator. It is very large, weighing in at 31KB. Although the storyline is minimal, its features include colorful maps that use special characters, fast draw times (for a Prizm Basic game anyways), and decent map compression.

    NOTE: Please play this game on OS 1.03 or higher, otherwise special characters will fail to render properly.

  14. This first beta of LuaZM for the Casio Prizm brings Lua to your calculator. Create your own .lua programs, then use LuaZM's handy graphical file browser to select a program and run it. LuaZM also includes a command line where you can test out commands and functions. LuaZM is a semi-port of Lua 5.2.1. Please try out this beta, give me feedback, and start publishing your own Prizm Lua programs! Compatibility layers for Nspire and LuaFX programs may be coming soon.

  15. This word processor for Casio fx-CG 10 is the next iteration in the Writer family; those of you with Lines XT (within which Writer 7 is included) may already be familiar with Writer. Writer 8 has some improvements over Writer 7 that you may like, including integrated installation options to choose whether Writer 8 can be used with Lines XT (so that you don't have to have Lines to run Writer 8), two document save capabilities, and of course, backwards compatibility with Writer 7. If you choose to install Writer 8 as an "upgrade" of Writer 7 for XT, you should also install the newest version of Lines XT as soon as it's uploaded so that you can access Writer 8 successfully. As usual, please read the manual for complete instructions, and feel free to contact me with questions. The password is still 7808.

  16. The first full Lua game for the Casio Prizm, Bloxorz is a port of an Nspire game. It has 16 levels. An older version of it froze when it got to the 16th level, so if it does, please message Spenceboy98 or post on the forum. Use the arrow key to move the block around. Press [OPTN] to go to the level screen. Press [EXIT], [AC/ON], or [MENU] to quit. Requires LuaZM. I hope I'm not missing anything. Enjoy! Credits go to Nick Steen for the original TI-Nspire game.

  17. Amazonka's Lock add-in is minimalistic and very Casio OS looking interface to power off and subsequently unlock your Prizm/Casio FX-CG. It locks the calculator using Casio's built-in User Name password as registered under System manager from MAIN MENU. Even if User Name setup is deleted, the latest available password (if ever registered) will still work. This also means no additional setup or files in main or storage memory are needed to store your password, i.e. resetting main and storage memories without wiping add-ins will not effect the lock functionality. Even deleting User password won't effect the add-in: only user name and org will show in red then.

    |Provided a password was ever registered in System manager
    |
    |==>the add-in will lock and power down the calculator.
    |
    |==>The add-in then request this password on turning the calculator
    |
    |== >If the matching password is entered
    | |
    | |==>the MAIN MENU is returned (now WITHOUT extra pop-ups and subsequent presses of [MENU])
    | or
    | |==>or a bult-in main menu APP of your choice is launched
    |
    |==>If the calulator is left idle beyond the backlight duration setting the add-in will power off the calculator.

    * your choice of where your are taken upon unlock will be remembered by the add-in until you change it (by [Up]/[Down] buttons).

    * If no password was ever registered the add-in will launch System manager instead and navigate you to the where you need to do user setup - please REMEMBER YOUR PASSWORD!

    Add-in now also has functionality to:
    * show your battery voltage (via [Up]/[Down] selection or [Menu] shortcut);
    * reset the calculator (via [Up]/[Down] selection - useful for anyone who disabled the reset button at back of the calculator);
    * setup auto power off for any amount of minutes interval between 1 and 120 minutes. ([Shift]then [Menu] to setup then [Up]/[Down] to increase/decrease)
    * replace Conversion add-in - just rename this add-in to Conv.g3a and it will enable the same in RunMat (i.e. [Optn] then [F6] in RunMat will have Convert above [F1])
    * other small improvements (Unadmissable characters filter, USB protection)

    Tested successfully on Casio FX-CG20 (OS 02.00.0200 and 01.04.0200).
    On the emulator everything besides powering down/reset works.

  18. This is a random Nyan Cat animation I made. I was bored. If you're bored, you might want this to entertain you. It's a pretty big file, so if you want it, you have to have the right amount of memory. Enjoy....

    Edit: This now has the NyanCat.h, plus the pic is now centered.

    Animation is most accurate at 43.5 MHz.

  29. Two add-ins: BETA shell-like version of G-PLUS add-in together with an experimental version of G-SHOCK add-in retaining most feature of the following release https://www.cemetech.net/scripts/countdown.php?/prizm/GClock.zip&path=archives but is capable of adding time display not only to MAIN MENU status bar but also to the status bar of almost all built in apps (I excluded eAct and Memory apps on purpose, i.e. they will launch but without the time display, also navigating with up/down or right/left buttons from MAIN MENU will remove time display).

    Having this new G-CLOCK on its own will work for most circumstances but Stats and Graphs sometimes have to be stripped of time display, depending on which was launched first basically, and for Stats specifically depending on whether RunMat was launched before, etc…
    Combining both G-PLUS and the new G-CLOCK add-ins enclosed in this archive is designed to eliminate the above problem. Alternatively running just G-PLUS without new G-CLOCK launches RunMat with time displayed in its status bar.
    If you want it to launch another built in app with time in its status bar instead you will need to run SETUP in my password protection add-in Lock https://www.cemetech.net/scripts/countdown.php?/prizm/programs/Lock.zip&path=archives first by up/down selection as per https://www.cemetech.net/forum/viewtopic.php?t=11033 please (or ask on the forum if you need clearer instructions or use more options like power options etc).
    For more G-CLOCK details (or last non-Beta release of it) please see https://www.cemetech.net/forum/viewtopic.php?p=249007 and I’m looking forward to your feedback as always.

I basically made a program for everything I could when we learned it, so some of the functions in here will seem really random. Also, I'm only in Algebra 2, so don't expect anything mind-blowing. Also, I put a password on the program so that breaking (AC/ON) to exit wouldn't bring you to the source code. If you would like to view the source code, the password is "MATH"
