  3. This is a classic board game with many different rules. More info about mancala: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Mancala

    Rules:

    Object of the game:
Each player attempts to collect as many stones as possible before one of the players clears his or her side of stones.

    The board:
Each player has a side of the board (4th picture)

    How to play:
Players alternate turns. In his or her turn each player selects a group of stones from one hole on his or her side of the board. Each stone is dropped one by one in the holes around the board (anticlockwise), icluding his or her mancala (large hole) and the opponents mancala.

    Free turns:
If the last stone lands in the players own mancala, that player goes again.

    Captures:
If the last stone is dropped in an empty hole (not in a mancala!), he or she captures all the stones from that hole and from the hole directly opposite that hole.

    How to win:
The game is over when a player has no more stones on his or her side of the board. The winner is with the gratest number of stones in his or her mancala.

    Contols:
You can control the game with buttons A-L. (Button A belongs to the hole on the left-top; button L belongs to the hole on the right-bottom)

  10. A work in progress KiCAD Schematic for an Arduino shield that supports 3 calculator networking. The shield footprint and schematic are in separate zip files. Put the Arduino shield files in the library path for KiCAD, and put the gCnBridge files in a project directory. There\'s a PDF of the schematic in there as well, although it's mostly the same as the schematic in the Calcnet documentation, apart from the connectors.

I\'ve cross checked with the Sparkfun zigbee shield, and that seems to use D2/D3 on the Arduino, so there\'s some compatibility there. WiFi seems to be a bit up in the air, the Sparkfun WiFi shield takes up most of the data lines. I haven't looked at the new, official Arduino shield yet, nor have I looked at the Ethernet shields yet.

I have 3 2.5mm connectors for serial connections to calculators, but I haven't broken out the calipers yet to figure out how many I can add to the end of the board, it may be a couple of more. I also don't have footprints yet for the 2.5mm connector I'm using, so that's coming.

  16. Snake (or Nibbles) is one of the oldest games in the history of video games. There are plenty of snake clones for calculators, too—but why go old-school? In Snakecaster, you'll still be able to play Snake the usual way, but as you play, the screen displays a raycasted scene of the game. In other words, you see the world as the snake would see it, if the snake sees everything in blocks of black and white. First place in TI-Concours 2012. Compiled with Axe Parser v0.5.3b.

  23. Hello,
I would like to introduce you my attempt to port Doom to Casio Prizm. Standard Doom requires about 8 MB RAM, so do not expect anything :-)
It is in a very early stage, slow and it will probably crash due to failed malloc.

    Controls:
    arrows - movement
    [alpha] - fire
[exe] - use (open the door,...)
    [^] - iddqd + idkfa :-)
    [F1] ~ [F5] - weapon select
[Menu] - exit (the calculator will be in somehow wrong state, if menu is not working, try to turn it off and on)

    Uploading here on KermMartian request.

  27. This is a imitation of Minecraft 2D. I have never played Minecraft 2D. It is kinda nice. I sincerely hope that I will not get cussed out for making it, 'specially as it is beta software. It is coded in QBasic 1.1 on a Windows 3.1 computer with 640 KB of RAM, so the closer to those specs the better. Oh, and it does not require QBasic because I compiled it with QBasic 4.5 into a DOS program, but I still included the source code. Thanks for reading!
    IT IS BETA.

Now you can overclock up to 94.3MHz, or underclock to as low as 3.6 MHz at the touch of a few keys! A very handy, small utility (under 30KB for the add-in), pick it up today and have even more control over your device! Now updated, so you can change your ICLK CPU clock division ratio to crank a teeny bit more speed out! You can also monitor the other bus speeds on your calculator, and now safely clock up to 94.3 MHz!

  43. Tic-Tac-Tank was written for the TI-Concours 2012 programming contest. The contest challenged TI-BASIC programmers to write a two-player Tic-Tac-Toe game in 3,000 bytes or less. Tic-Tac-Tank fulfills those requirements, and goes farther with an AI and a unique game mechanic. Small: Less than 2.5KB. Classic: Two-player standard Tic-Tac-Toe. Unique: In your turn, you can move or choose to use Tank, which erases two random pieces from the board. Great to get out of traps! Smart: Play against an intelligent AI that will make offensive and defensive moves, and will make good use of the Tank move to avoid losing.
