6. This is the expanded version of the Mouse and Cheese game presented in Chapter 6 of the book "Programming the TI-83 Plus/TI-84 Plus". You are a mouse chasing a particularly frisky piece of cheese, as your hunger bar quickly climbs. You must catch the next piece of cheese before you starve, or the game is over! Although this game has been expanded from the version in the book with a main menu and help screen, it still has plenty you could add yourself, including a better cheese AI, a high score mechanism, and much more.

7. Here is a mini-demo of a sidescrolling game I totally wrote in TI-Basic.
Actually the screen does not shifting : using line( commands to draw/erase make the illusion :)
The aim is just to move this kind of "ufo" and avoid the mounts & valleys.
For now, the game 's during a few minutes and lives are infinites.
In order to have a more sensitive keyboard, I found a way :
when you run the game, you let the key [del] always pressed.
Then you just press another key to move up "a la flappy bird".
This program is 6mhz compatible (of course, you'll have better results on 15mhz calculators)

8. xPegz is my next-gen hybrid basic clone of Pegs. Based on a much faster engine, xPegz runs faster than Pegz but only a tad slower than the its original counterpart. However, it makes up for this with a powerful level editor, which allows you to make external level packs to give to friends. It also compensates with 8 built-in levels (4 by me, 4 by nitacku, which I may note are extremely challenging) along with virtually infinite levels. Other powerful Asm utilities have been utilized, mainly CELTIC2, LIST, and VARTEST, so as to eliminate errors that would be impossible to prevent in Pure Basic. Requires xLIB .601b or higher.

13. A simple game of NIM for two players:

On your turn, you can take as many stones as you like, as long as they all come from the same pile. Whoever takes the very last stone loses.

One note: sometimes the program will generate a very small amount of stones. Just relaunch the program; it randomizes the numbers every time as of v1.0.0

This is my first original game ever, so please test it out and see what you think, and don't roast me for accidentally clearing your RAM. (It didn't clear mine...)

41. Copied from the README.txt file:

In this game, you are trying to guess whatever the 1-5 word phrase is that a different person/team has created.
Here you can only go one letter at a time. Player/Team 1 creates the phrase and gives it to player/team 2.
It is their job to guess the wrod or phrase. There is a counter counting all of the mistakes that you make.
If the mistake total is or above, you lose.

Something to note: When testing this is Source Coder, when clicking the screen (equivalent of pressing [ON]),
sometimes the calculator would clear all of its RAM. This means that all of the variables, lists and programs will be erased.
When using this just the emulator, this problem wasn't there. I see no reason why this would happen and maybe I just hit a button
by mistake. Nonetheless, I felt inclined to let you know in advance that this has happened to me in the development cycle.

I have been given help on how I could program this, and those people are in this thread: http://www.cemetech.net/forum/viewtopic.php?t=11204
Please note that in the thread, I have a post saying that everything above it is what helped me and that anything below it, if anything is there, isn't what helped me.

45. KeyMash v2.0 is a somewhat more original and TI calculator-oriented version of games such as Dance Dance Revolution. Arrows fall with increasing speed from the top of the screen; you must press the corresponding key before the arrow reaches the bottom. If it falls to the bottom, the game is over. You can make up to five errors (wrong key pressed) before the game ends; however, getting 25 correct in a row gives you a powerup that takes away an error. Check it out!

46. Tic-Tac-Tank was written for the TI-Concours 2012 programming contest. The contest challenged TI-BASIC programmers to write a two-player Tic-Tac-Toe game in 3,000 bytes or less. Tic-Tac-Tank fulfills those requirements, and goes farther with an AI and a unique game mechanic. Small: Less than 2.5KB. Classic: Two-player standard Tic-Tac-Toe. Unique: In your turn, you can move or choose to use Tank, which erases two random pieces from the board. Great to get out of traps! Smart: Play against an intelligent AI that will make offensive and defensive moves, and will make good use of the Tank move to avoid losing.
