| Um... how do I make a large picture small enough for an avatar. I wanna use one of my dads dental x-rays. |

You should be able to use your photo editing software (The Gimp, Photoshop, etc.) to resize it to 100x100 pixels, save it under a different name to not replace the original then you should be good to go.

| Just remember that scaling the pic down can distort the image, which is never fun. |

| Not if you use the same percentages and you don't shrink a highly detailed picture to 50x50. |

Personally, I like ByLight 20/20 (it's freeware), but I just can't really find a download anywhere. I have it, I just don't know where I'd gotten it.
Anyone else heard of it? |

Oops, yes, I forgot about that little detail . What was I thinking? 20/20's homepage used to be www.hotfreeware.com. Heh. Other than the ads, it works pretty well for me. |

Yeah well um... for some reason mspaint just dissapeared from my computer, not the first time it's happened.
Virus's didn't cause this it started happening before I got internet (my familys behind times. I don't have cable, AC, or until last week a doorknob (don't ask))
Maybe it's that my parents against all my advice got a dell because my neibor who has one sais it runs well.
Anyway photoshop is to expensive for us, what we have is dell image expert can i do it there? |

press and hold the windows (start menu) button, then press R. A windows should appear saying 'Run'. Type mspaint in the dialog box, and press enter. Paint should launch. |

Hehe, no. The point was that I hit the ball exiting out the window in your avatar. :)
Try running "pbrush" and see if that works.

Nope... Oh well, I'll just blame dell.
I'm gonna starting building my own all-powerful supercomputer homebrew the second schools over and I can get a job.
Then I don't have to worry about crappy dell failures.
I think the owner of dell should burn in New Jersey. |
