On my own IPB, i have found this Administrator option called "Bump Topic" in Moderating options. I clicked it to see what it did,but nothing happened. Later i checked the admin logs, and it said "topic bumped by leofoxus" there, but i couldn't see a difference in the topic.

What is it supposed to do?

Puts it back on top like somebody replied in order to draw attention to it.

Why don't we have it here?

maybe it's only for admins?

That would make no sense, I'd think a forum mod would be able to do it as well.

Different version?

That would be semi-useless, though, wouldn't it? Why would you want to bump the topic if nobody's replying to it?
Just pin it if it's important.

A question that didn't get answered.

To get people to reply to it without it being important.

but if it's important, why do you want people to reply?

If it's important, you'd naturally want replies. However there might be cases where it's not AS important as to pin it, but you still want it to get replied to. For example, if there were a question in the TI-Basic topic (like the ExecLib( question) that no one had the answer to YET, I wouldn't pin it, but I might want to bump it once in a while to see if someone knew the answer to it...
