| I hope you own a TI-82 or a member of the TI-83+ family as well. If I remember correctly those are the only platforms this game is being released on. |

Darn, this rocks Digitan! I'm glad this is still progressing from time to time. Can't wait for the final version.
Does this use undocumented z80 opcodes or extra RAM pages, by the way? I hope not, as my 84+ lacks the extra 80 KB of RAM (it has letter N ) and the Nspire doesn't support undocumented z80 opcodes
|
Nope! No extra pages or undocumented ops. I'm actually really curious to test whether this could port to NSpire as well. |

Cool to hear. For the TI-Nspire you just must avoid undocumented opcodes, I think. Let me check if I can find the list...
EDIT Here we go: http://www.ticalc.org/archives/files/fileinfo/435/43539.html
Basically, do not use anything that is in gray there. Also I think stuff like screen shifting/z-adress will not work either, so no abuse of that feature for earthquake animations D: .

I fixed up the random enemy spawn code. They can now appear from 4 directions. Enemies positions can also be pre-programmed into the map itself.
Some other things to note:
- Slugs stop your movement & jumping a short while
- The mantis now shoots wind projectiles (shown as a feather)
- Enemy wind projectiles will push you in random directions
- A wasp crashes into a tree!

Yeah, things are just really hectic this year. With the economy not-to-great I've been doing more electrical projects to add to the ol' resume. Just in case. Actually, I resigned my old job and moved to the city a few months ago but that's a long story.
RW is still in progress. Still trying to add linedraw and trim the story for the demo. |
