Strange... Sincerely, I've never had problems downgrading my nSpire without the maintenance menu either...
What message are you getting? on the computer, or calculator?
It may depend on the computer link software / calculator OS / calculator Boot2 versions...

Okay, I was wrong. I am able to downgrade. I was just taking hackspire's word for it, and never tried without deleting the OS first.

I have not had a chance to try it myself, but I seem to recall reading in some official NSpire document that said that you could not downgrade.

It's likely it resides at $00000000, since that's what the ARM program counter is supposed to initialize to. |

There is just one problem with that actually working spencer...
There is no sound!!!!!
Okay, but seriously, if we are a group of TI calc fans, and we don't like the NSpire, why not create your own with everything you want? EG. color screen, usb communications, internet access, full IDE, hologram projector...
Ooooh. Now I'm motivated.  |
