It remembers the pattern that I pull this lever!


Basically, it's a computer with a bunch of RAM and no harddrive. Can be wired to remember all sorts of redstone input.

Trying to build an 8 bit(1 byte... Lol...) harddrive:
Very cool stuff! Just curious, are you going to hook this RAM module up to some other large device, such as a simple calculator, to use? Or for something else? Or just for proof of concept/coolness/fun? Smile
Just proof of concept, for the moment.
Pretty impressive. I never got into redstone much, this is making me want to explore a bit more.

Are all those switches purely for delays? How many times can you switch the lever before i runs out of memory?

Well it loops into itself, so eventually you'll run into overwriting issues unless you pull that second lever which breaks the loop, but, the amount of data that can be stored is exactly equal to the number of redstone repeaters.

And yes, they're pretty much purely for delays.
