I'm sorry this is such late notice, but it seems like I won't be able to judge the entries at all. I simply don't have time this week to do anything calculator-related :/

Ok, no problem. I simply remove you from the judge list? Ok?

I think that's part of being a judge, and to be fair, there's only eight or ten entries compared with the giant hybrid category. Razz

Well, at least you've gotten to two. What two programs did you judge so far?

I haven't even seen epic7 here yet, and not much from ryzum; is there some sort of deadline that these judges were given as far as starting to work on their judging?

I have seen ryzum multiple times on zcontest website (I discussed with him yesterday).

About the deadline, I think if a judge is to slow to give his results, we can't really wait him, and I will just remove him from the judge list and publish results without him.

But as far, only the asm category seems a little bit slow. But I'm pretty sure the asm judges are working on the contest without telling us Razz

yaronet : Hybrid is ok (me : 100%, noelthebest : >50%, aetios : idk)
Omnimaga : Basic no problem too (llylud : 100%, matreteyfontias : 100%, Le Solutionneur : >50% I think, yeong >20%, epic7 : idk, parser padawan : idk)

aetios : are you always ok to judge hybrid category ? No problem if you can't do it Smile I just prefer you say no yet instead of doing it too late.

edit : In fact it was for deep thought not aetios but deep thought is not judge for hybrid.

contra-sh, for the Omnimaga contests, judges were usually given one month to judge, except the 2011 contest series which was 2 weeks for each part. If a judge didn't submit his results in time, they were not taken into account.

DJ_O : one month? For how many entries? How many judges?

mdr1 : Can you tell more about the entries you've already judged?
Not results, just feedback Smile

Great, now you can move on to judging the utilities, right? Wink

DJ_O, Contra-sh: Whoa, one month? In previous Cemetech months, contest entrants get antsy if we take more than a week.

What's the difference between a normal month and a Cemetech month?? Shock

Joking aside, all 3 contests had 3 judges I think, for 4 entries in 2009 (split in two categories), 13 in 2010 and 21 in 2011 (12 in Axe, 8 for the Nspire and 3 for the Prizm). The issue is the contests were in the middle of the Summer or right during the ACT/SAT rush at school, so people were either in vacation with family, had band camp or were very busy at school. Those last, sometimes unpredictable issues are why during the 2011 contest the judges were chosen at the very last minute.

Ugh, that's what happens when I don't re-read my posts before hitting Submit. That should have read "in previous Cemetech contests". I've found it's relatively successful to pick the judges near the beginning of the contest so they have time to back out if they realize it's going to be too big of a time commitment to judge. Smile
