Cemetech's Minecraft server of choice, Evocatus, of which I am an administrator (second in command) is coming back online today or tomorrow. I hope I'll see you all join us there.

I should warn you (and everyone) else that:

1) It's a PvP server. Everyone will be trying to kill you.
2) It's a Towny server. Cemetechians band together to build and defend the town Arcadia in the nation Elysium.

I have a friend that likes to tunnel under people's cities and plant mountains of tnt underneath. Would this be a problem on Evocatus?

Not at all. If he can get through the Towny protection to tunnel under the cities in Evocatus, more power to him, and TNT doesn't cause block damage.
