Nice! I am really regretting my Choice of an NV GPU for my last upgrade. If I had gone AMD I would have a similar setup but alas 3840x1080 will be my max for a while. _________________

You don't have to use twinview if you're on linux. xrandr still works, although you have to enable it manually.
Or is there some other limitation? _________________ Hmm...what to put here....

If you didn't notice he has 3 monitors hooked up to his one graphics card, Consumer Nvidia cards only have enough display controllers to light 2 monitors. AMD Radeon HD 5XXX cards and newer all have at least 3 Display controllers some having as many as 6(Kerm has one of these) allowing support for more monitors. They only have 2 sets of the timing hardware needed for traditional display connectors, IE VGA, DVI, and HDMI, but DisplayPort moves that hardware to the Monitor allowing video cards to support more monitors with a minimal amount of hardware.
Since I purchased an Nvidia Card last time I upgraded my GPU I can only support using 2 monitors with it even though it has 3 outputs due to NVidia not using DisplayPort and/or including extra display controllers and timing hardware. Whereas if I had gone AMD it would have been a HD 5XXX series radeon card supporting at least 3 monitors, and thus I could do a similar setup with one card. _________________

Ah, I see. I take it an SLI setup wouldn't have that problem, having more display controllers? It gets more pricey, though. _________________ Hmm...what to put here....

Ah yes, I saw that one on Facebook. You look so thrilled. Also, I just noticed that we're on page 100 of this thread, so congratulations to us! _________________

Who would be thrilled to have cat butt in their face? And when you go to scratch & pet them anywhere near their posterior, their hind quarters raise up. It's not exactly pleasant Especially when the base of her tail is at my chin. :/ _________________

Bubble tea! Sara didn't believe me that you can buy pre-made bubbles to make bubble tea at home; I should show her this. _________________

Asian food store for the bubbles and the boba milk tea mix, Middle Eastern food store for the Arab-branded Mango-flavored Tang mix.
Of course you can just buy the bubbles and make the tea from scratch, but something about the instant mix makes it really fun.
Didn't you and shaun have some of our homemade bubble tea in Maine? _________________ StickFigure Graphic Productions || VSHI: Vermont Sustainable Heating Initiative

Technomonkey asked in IRC for someone to make a "Kermione Granger"... so it's what's for dinner. Enjoy.
