How well does DCS handle drawing GUI off the screen/outside of the window?

Short answer: poorly. Longer answer: expect crashiness. How about creating the GUI, rendering it, saving that to some buffer, and quickly clearing the screen? It's awkward, but not the worst ever. Should have exposed RenderGUI_NoCopyBuffer like I did for BASIC. :/
