| I'm sure you've all heard of this by now, that a group of what were supposed to be humanitarian aid ships, tried to run the Israeli-Egyptian blockade of Gaza. After refusing to have their cargo checked at an Israeli port, they were boarded, and responded violently. The IDF fought back with small arms, killing 9 people. According to what I've read, Israel acted within their legal right, and in fact could have legally sunk the ships if they had wanted to, but I want to know what you guys think. |

- 9 of the 600 activists aboard the I.H.H. boat were killed. 7 of the Israeli troops were wounded.
- The Israeli troops came in with paintball guns (guns that shoot balls of paint, not bullets) and only switched to sidearms after they were attacked.
- Film has been found on board the boat where the fighting took place which shows a STAGED attack on the boat in broad daylight. The raid took place at night.

Israel rocks.
Yeah, they were completely withn their rights to take the actions they did. I totally agree with dshiznit.
You know, the Lusitania was running a good deal of contraband to England when whe was torpedoed prior to the US involvement in WW1. Not many people know this, for some odd reason.
