I'm trying to find a way to send text files like .pdf .rtf or pages document from my macbook to my calculator. Can anyone give me some advice here please?
I don't believe you can send pdfs or rtfs to your calculator. Here are the types of files you can send (off my memory):

.8xp (Programs)
.8xv (Appvars)
.8xg (TI-Groups)
.8ci (pictures)
.8XS (strings)

and anything else with an 8x_ file extension.
Your best bet is to do as 123outerme suggested and copy whatever is inside of your pdf or rtf file into a SourceCoder program, and then export it to your calculator. That way you can view it in the program editor.
As MateoConLechuga says, you could create a program using SourceCoder 3, paste in your text, and export that to send to your calculator. There's Document DE 7 for the TI-83 Plus and TI-84 Plus, but I never got around to porting it to the TI-84 Plus C Silver Edition. Another option might be TI's Notefolio.
