Better late than never.

My name's ReGuess. I am a beginner at JavaScript, n00b at z80 asm, fluent enough in TI-BASIC to be able to spend a two-week vacation in a foreign land where that's the only language, and in know nothing of Python.
I have two TI-84 Plus C SE's and one TI-84 Plus.
Welcome to Cemetech! What kind of TI-BASIC programming have you done so far? What kinds of interesting projects have you made, and are you working on anything at the moment? Do feel free to share your work, completed and upcoming, in our Your Projects subforum. If you want to learn more calculator or computer languages, you're in the right place, and we look forward to having you with us. Thanks also for your help already in pushing me to make SourceCoder support more formats!
Have I ever formally introduced myself? I guess not. I am Caleb, a high school student, soon to go to UAT (University of Advancing Technology) to get a Bachelor's of Science in programming and software engineering. I know TI-Basic, learning Assembly, and I know a bit of Scratch and Python.
Hello there! I've been lurking here for... quite a while, mostly downloading games and whatnot.
I got my start with programming when, in 6th grade, I tried to make a game in Javascript (you probably know where this is going) for an extra-credit assignment. I started this in September, and spent from then until June convincing myself and my parents that I'd start tomorrow and playing Free Rider 3 instead... the only thing I finished was half of a character sprite.

I still have that, actually.

I gave programming a rest until last summer when I tried to get into C++, and if I'd kept at it I would've been done with the book I was reading by now... but school happened and I had to give it up.
I got into TI-BASIC programming literally just yesterday (4th period is boring as hell, and a friend showed me a slope-finding program he'd written). Since then, I've made a couple programs to help me with Algebra 1, namely a converter from standard/two-point/point-slope form to a slope-intercept equation+graph, a recursive equation/sequence generator, and a [WIP of] a project that solves a given system of equations with either substitution (I believe it's called Cramer's rule?), elimination, graphing or a table.

JSTified is amazing, by the way, and it along with with the IDE is the best thing since people stopped using the 'sliced bread' analogy.
Guess it's that time... I've finally been noticed, so I may as well introduce myself. I use z80 BASIC mainly, though I've dabbled in practically every other language you can find a tutorial for on the web.

Glad to have another language-dabbler with us. What would you say are your favorite language(s)? What's your preferred platform?

Haha, well-said. Good to have you with us, sir.
Hello, I am Michael2_3B! I know quite a bit about TI-BASIC programming, but I still do not know anything about ASM (other than inputting hexcodes xD). I would consider myself a (fairly) advanced BASIC programmer, and I have also been very active on TIBD ever since I joined this past summer. I have recently joined cemetech because it is one of the other calculator programming sites recommended by TIBD.

Currently, I have a TI-83 Plus. I am currently in development of one of my first major games, a text-based game called Dark Hallways.

Also, I am considering creating a new club at my highschool next year, but I would like some advice ;P Should I call it "General Programming" Club or "Calculator Programming" Club? Or would that be a bad idea all together? Currently I can only think of 2-3 people or so that might join me...
Hi everyone! I am Eddie Shore. By day I am a Tax Specialist at Cal Poly Pomona (basically make sure that Cal Poly is tax compliant and assist the administrative Accounting department).

I have a collection of TI, Casio, HP, and other brand calculators. I have been programming calculators since 1992. My first graphing calculator is the TI-81.

Currently, my favorite calculators are the HP Prime, TI-84, and Casio Prizm. My blog is http://edspi31415.blogspot.com/. Graphing Calculator

Other hobbies including music, travel, and sometimes drawing.

I'm glad and slightly surprised to hear it. Our relationship with the founder of TI-BASIC Developer has not been the smoothest.

I'd call it a general programming club to help attract more members and give it a broader focus, but if all of your members enjoy graphing calculator programming, I don't see a reason not to focus on that.
Hello. I currently have a TI 84 CSE Silver, but I used to use my older bros monochrome. I know TI Basic, and I program on my calculator, since I can't go on my computer alot. I want to be able to code games, and programs that should already exist for the TI 84 CSE. Also, I'm in middle school currently, so I dont even understand all the buttons on my calculator, but then again, I'm definitely not the only one who thinks "What the fork does Sin mean?".
After all, Sin is bad. Evil, probably. Um, anyway, I'm also planning on learning to code in Asm if a On-calc asm IDE is coded by someone that isnt me. Hopefully one day someone will. I'm also planning on coding a minecraft based game that I may or may not start.
Well, I guess I never did introduce myself. I am Unicorn, a beginner coder to HTML and I would like to know some JavaScript. I know TI BASIC as you probably know. Razz I hope to learn ASM in the coming months and maybe some C.

So yeah, that's me.

Oh, and I like rainbows, purple, and misspelling things for KermM. Razz
Hi, I am German. I know a little bit HTML, CSS, C (I tried something with prizm add-in development) and Casio Basic and I am very interested in graphics design.
Hello! I have been searching for a way to help my friend out with his calculator and this forum seemed a very helpful and collaborative community that I wanted to be part of!

As a hobby, I like to go around fixing IPads, PC monitors, Wiis.... any thing that has electrons flowing through..... you name it Very Happy

Almost fluent in Python ( I don't know if it is something brag about) and currently, I am trying to get used to Java!
Welcome JcM and CalculatorStud!

CalculatorStud: Do you make a ny money fixing the electronic devices? It seems like a fun way to earn money! For you of course. Razz

Nice avatar JcM!
Hi, I'm new here, but I've had a TI-84+SE for over 6 years now. It's been with me since high school and still getting daily use now in college (accounting major). I've been learning some ti-basic on and off, mostly out of boredom. I came here after looking up Doors CS and figured this forum could be helpful.
Just a cemetech stalker (for about a year now) who finally decided to make an account. I program in tibasic (monochrome calcs), know html + css somewhat fluently and learning c++ and maybe some lua. I own a Ti-82, Ti-84+, and a Ti-nspire cx. Thanks for reading, have a great day! Laughing
Hello,

I'm Belgian (Country of chocolate and beer) and speak french (sorry then for my bad english).

I'm math's teacher loving integrate technology in his cursus.

I own multiples TI calculators from TI-82 to TI-Nspire.

I begun programming with TI-Basic and year after year, learned HTML, CSS, Javascript, PHP, installing server, developed apps for Android and iOS and more recently (reason I come here) deeped into electonic with arduino.

I would like to merge together TI calcs with his pretty easy programming language and arduino to make some projects with my students to show applications of mathematics in real projects and situations.

Thanks, it took some time to create it... Very Happy
Heyo! My name's Deli. I'm just a random guy from the States with a passion for technology and creativity Very Happy

Titles and nicknames I have accumilated during my years on the internet:
-Master of Analogies (Circa 2013)
-Cynical Optimist (Unknown)
-Lunchmeat (Circa December 2014)

I have experience with Python and various C-based languages (mainly C++ and Java), and am currently learning PHP as well. I don't really have much experience with BASIC or Assembly or anything that could be used for TI calculators, but I'm willing to learn!
