So, I was wondering if there was a way to create a program for Android devices that sets all settings back to default while keeping all the data stored on the device. If so, could someone please help send a code or link?

Why:
My friend was beimg an idiot one day and took my tablet. He went into the developer's options and set the overlay to 1080*1200 pxls, 360 dpi. Now, it's useless. I can't interact with it at all.
By the way, it's an iRola with Jellybeans OS 4.3

Reset your tablet? I do some android programming, but not that type of stuff...

If it helps android is java based, you might find that useful

I have no experience with tab but one of my friend had faced this kind of problem and his issue was resolved by resetting his tablet.
