This happens whenever SourceCoder tries to parse a .jpg.

That's a correct output. JPEG is a lossy format, and I believe inappropriate for trying to convert to a calculator image/sprite. Not to mention that it makes it that much harder to put ...questionable... images on calculators.

When I use this file: http://fife.zapto.org/up/download.php?file=429NAGA.G1M

I get this:

Code:

« Return to Project List
 File Type: Casio Prizm file
 Total File Size: 3736 bytes

 TSDRALLY

Complete! 1186 tokens rendered in 0.007450 seconds.

But I don't see the code

My intuition would be that since G1M isn't a Prizm file, it's not supported, and so SC isn't parsing it correctly. Perhaps the headers are different, so it is trying to display a null character, making it not display anything after that.

This is precisely it. SourceCoder is only designed to open Prizm BASIC programs, although I'm not surprised that the g1m format is close enough that it's able to extract some useful information. Can you email me the file in question?

Not to play Sherlock, but can't you download it from his post?

I was on my phone and didn't notice the link. Smile Anyway, now that I'm past one of the shadiest download sites ever, I'll see what I can figure out and edit this post if I find any bugs/features in SourceCoder to fix/add to make this work.

Edit: It's a token definition error; apparently there's a missing token. Please tell me what should come next:

Code:
Detokenization process failed at ...0xe6, 0x91,...! Prevous context was:
9
:ClrText
:ln6,9)? ClrText
:Locate 5,4,"PENALTY

I was trying to view that file for a friend and just tried it with the emulator and found out it has a password, so I can't tell you what comes next.

However, I have this file: http://www.toppagedesign.com/casio/TEST.g1m

And the code fo it is (Yeah, I know, pointless code, but I made it just now to test so don't make fun of me Razz)

Code:

:"SOME TEST CODE"
:If T=1
:Then "TEST"
:Else "MORE TEST"
:IfEnd
:
:Lbl 1
:Goto 1
:ClrText

Also, in the prizm sourcecoder section, there is a button that says "export as 8xp". Shouldn't it be "export as g3m"?

That's quite frustrating, considering that the g3m token table spits out this:
BASIC Code wrote:
:"SOME TEST CODE"
:If T=1
:Then "TEST"
:Eng"MORE TEST"
:IfEnd
:
:LCM(1
:Gra1
:ClrText
Generated by SourceCoder, © 2005-2012 Cemetech
I wonder why Casio decided to do that. Sad To be honest, .g1m support is not a huge priority for me at the moment; perhaps I'll massage it into place at some point in the future. Good catch on the Export button, though.

Yes, I actually was aware of that. Razz Believe it or not, maintaining Cemetech isn't my day job.

If it's just a button, I'll go ahead and fix that.

It will need TPL markup to switch between Casio and TI mode. It's probably easier if I just do it when I get home. Smile

Oh, I thought the Casio SC was an entirely different TPL.
Fair enough Smile

SourceCoder appears to be adding an additional space after "ClrList" when exporting .8xp files.

Bug confirmed with SourceCoder + jsTIfied. Tokens database updated to correct the error. Fixed confirmed to work in both directions. Thanks for the bug report!

the lossy thing makes sense. I don't see how it deters people from converting to gif/png/bmp and loading them that way though...

Trying to parse this program gives the following error:

Quote:
Detokenization process failed at ...0x62, 0x38,...! Prevous context was:
ClrHome
:Disp "EIGENVALUE([A])"
:Input "GUE

It seems to send to jsTIfied and run and open in the 83+ on-calc program editor fine. The token in question on the calc seems to be ‘SS’ (making up the word “GUESS”).

Kerm, fwiw, if you want compatibility with TokenIDE, I have that as "[factorSS]".
