So, I'm looking for some good Starcraft 2 casters. Right now I really only watch Life's a Glitch TV. They're funny, and I really like them, but they don't do many videos of longer games by top players. What I'd really like is a channel that often has high-level players, with two commentators who are both funny and knowledgeable. Does anyone know of a channel that fits that?

The only one I watch with any regularity (which is really no regularity at all) is TotalBiscuit, but he doesn't fit your criteria.. at all.

HuskyStarcraft?

http://www.youtube.com/user/HuskyStarcraft

They don't only do 1v1, though, nowadays. Sometimes they'll comment live, other times after the game is done (especially when Husky is actually playing)

dApollo, Day[9], HDStarcraft all come to mind as good commentators who comment on interesting matches pretty regularly, but they rarely commentate as a team outside of tournament settings. Check out the free videos available from GOMtv, MLG, IPL, etc for high level team commentaries.

Do you play as well? Or just watch?

I don't play, just watch. I'll look up those casts and see if I like them.

dApollo is also delightfully British, if that helps.

I think so far HuskyStarcraft is my favorite of all the suggestions. Good games and good insight. Not nearly as funny as LagTV, but that's to be expected.

Absolutely. The 4 starting at this point in the playlist are featuring Husky: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=jzq2O54LLIw&list=PL63EE2AEB53058B3F&index=12&feature=plpp_video

Day9 is my favorite - definitely check out his "Funday Monday" episodes. Not pro casting, just dicking around and it's very funny.

Also I would recommend checking out GSL (gomtv.net) and MLG (majorleaguegaming.com) - both have very, very high quality content. Dreamhack also posts their vods for free I believe: http://open.dreamhack.se/vods/

For regular, high quality professional games GomTV is really the only choice. They have several new matches on a more or less daily basis (currently going 6 days a week between GSL Code S, GSL Code A, and GSTL)

Is he back from vacation yet? I'm looking forward to the Neural-Parasited-worker Funday Monday. And of course his other episodes are very high quality analysis, and his Newbie Tuesday episodes have some good places to get started if you want to bring up multiplayer skills.

Also, TotalBiscuit does his "Showcraft" variety show for the ladder-averse. Usually pretty funny.

As does IPL.

What ratio of the games they post are available for free, as compared to needing a season pass?

Yeah, he was back this week. No funday monday, though, as he said he didn't get enough games from people to do one, so it was just a regular daily instead.

Uh, most of it requires a season pass. I think you can watch like one game for free from each match, not sure on that. The live stream is free in low quality, though.

Is he still accepting them or did he propose a new theme?

p.s. NASL also posts their games on the NAStarLeague channel on youtube.

And TeamLiquid has a "this week in Starcraft" topic with links to great matches from the week.
