Neat, glad to hear it. Smile Assuming you have some fair ideas, perhaps you can send the results to mdr1? Do you think you were able to gather enough thoughts on them, or should I continue asking around for another judge to provide second opinions as well?

One problem I see is that if I only judge two programs and my scores are higher or lower than what other people would give them, it would bias their results... I don't have time to judge any more though. I guess I'll send it in and see what happens.

Indeed, that could be a concern. Hopefully they'll find a way to accurately normalize your scores with the other programs.

I've sent the results for a very long time to contra-sh, but he hasn't given they online yet.
Fortunatelly, the way I sent them was by posting a comment here : http://tiforge.info/zcontest3/?a=postcom&t=billet&id=18#2503
If anyone wants to choose asm programs for his calculator, he's able to see the tests of them in order to upload the bests, even if they're all very good !!

Do Deep Thought's results change the final scores at all? Or are you sticking with the scores and results as posted?

I mean that it would not be acceptable for the participants to see their results be changed and not have anymore a lot.

By the way, I don't know what happens on the website of the zcontest : since every winners are waiting for receiving their ti and giving their adress, all the admins leaved the site. Do you know what for ?

Err, I think I missed that whole process; I did no such thing. Shock Also, are all the results getting officially announced at some point, or did that also already happen?

I don't know what you mean by an official announcement, but apparently I managed first with Grammer and you got second with SandPaper. The results are here but you will need to scroll down a bit. Also, I have not been contacted for my info nor have I seen mention of where to do so.

Neither have I.
Also, there has been no mention as to who the Grand Champion and winner of the Nspire CX CAS is.

In a way I'm sad not to get the Nspire, not because I begrudge Xeda first place at all (and congrats!) but because I think it would probably be the only opportunity for me to ever possibly get into Nspire programming.

Yeah, I had never even thought of going to NSpire programming, but now I guess I have the chance to. It will add to my collection, I guess. It has an ARM processor? Does this mean I can program in assembly for it?

Given Ndless 3 Very Happy

Anyway, I haven't heard anything either, but I'm actually glad I don't get an Nspire CX. (Not that I don't like first place, but congrats Xeda!) A calculator sold only in France (that runs on a Z80) is something I'd really like to get my hands on.

You mean the TI-84.fr? I'm fairly excited about the 76, too, since I believe that's technically also a z80. Perhaps I can try to use some of BrandonW's work to convert it into a TI-84+. Very Happy

Yeah, I actually was hoping to get the 84.fr, but I cannot complain Smile

I wish that were possible, because I hate the 73/76 OS, especially for typing letters. Instead of an ALPHA button, you press a TEXT button to open a menu and use your arrow keys to find the letters you want to type. It's like this but with a keypad instead of a wheel.

But I think BrandonW said it was impossible Sad
08 Jan 2012 10:22:09 pm by KermMartian Quote
Impossible for the 76? Because I know for a fact he's succeeded in turning a 73 into an 83+ before.

I don't understand any of this hardware stuff, but he said here that it's impossible with TI-76.frs and TI-82 STATS.frs.

Oh, fascinating, it's essentially a TI-83. I feel like getting a TI-83 case for it, then. Smile
